I' d wear some , a hat at least , even if it wasn' t mandatory . Some folks just have no sense when it comes to target identification , and there' s no such thing as too safe . Deer don' t see orange , especially if there are leaves or branches between them and you .

kevin I for one can attest that it is not only target identification, but it also makes you a lot easier to see at a distance, I had a doe come in once and as I pulled the gun up I caught a glimpse of blaze orange about 150 yards beyond her, it was a hunter moving in the distance, if he hadn' t of been wearing blaze orange I doubt I would have ever seen him, needless to say the doe walked and possibly a tragedy was averted.
