Ever notice how the eye and ear protection by the same manufacturer with the same safety rating and same design is substantially cheaper in the hardware section of the same store?

I use a mini mag around camp and a propane Colman lantern to bloodtrail if needed. The MM is a cheap (about $15 I think) durable light. Runs on a couple AA batterys for several hours, is water proof and shok proof.

If you just need a light to see around camp, a cheap one will do...If you need one to get you out of the woods when you are a few miles back, get a beter one...
Actually, we are extremely lucky...We have a wider selection of flashlights than ever before...We also have better flashlights than ever before...
For years, a Coleman was the best light to use for tracking...We also used 4 cell MagLights...Now, I use a Coast LED light that I bought from Lowes Hardware...It was about $45, it runs off 3 AAA batteries, is extremely bright but the best feature is it's beam is adjustable...I've tried some LEDs that were so bright the light bounced back to your eyes and blinded your tracking vision...
With this light, the blood glows, making tracking easier...
If you need a cheap light, buy one, but the better ones have their place as well...
