Default Bucks loosing velvet?

I live in northwestern Wyoming and the bucks have just started to rub off their velvet this weekend. On our farm I saw some small trees that had been ripped to shreds by the bucks. I was just wondering what the other deer are doing in the U.S.

All the bucks that I have seen on our farm in west central WI have been out of velvet for a week or more. This is about the norm for our area, end of Aug. it's off.

Here more whitetails are hard horned then velvet. The mulies are behind a touch however. With in a week or so I doubt anything will be wearing velvet. The leaves are turnin and nights are longer/cooler...its happening. FALL is here!!!!
