I guess I'm spoiled or something, but I would quit hunting before I would hunt under those conditions. The thought of a deer laying in somebody's pansy bed, bleating, with an arrow sticking out of it just ain't worth it to me. The main reason I don't bow hunt is that even with a good shot they sometimes run a long way. The hunting channels are filled with shows that these so called professionals hit a deer "a little far back" or some other bad hit and they back out to retrieve the deer the following day, usually several hundred yards away....

Timber, I understand your point of view, but you have to understand I live in downtown Chicago now and the closest place I have access to hunt with a gun is over 6 hours away and I only can hunt there a few days a year. To have a place to hunt within 30 minutes of downtown Chicago and 5 minutes from where my folks live is quite nice. Plus, with no hunting pressure and forest preserves around, these bucks can get VERY big.
The good thing as well is that I only have two shooting lanes and only two spots in the lanes that they can cross, both shots are where my pins are at and I practice out of my stand at those two spots. Practice, Practice, Practice is the name of the game and a good broadhead, plus hopefully some good luck!
