SE Michigan Hunters only please
Hi everyone, For those of you who know me its been awhile since I have been on the forums... way to busy!
Anyways to cut to the chase I have a much busier hectic schedule this year than I have in the past so I would like some help,
1. are you experiencing much rutting activity yet.
2. any trailing action?
3. are the bucks by themselves or still in groups of two or three?
4. Are your scrapes still being hit?
5. When are you seeing most action morning or evening?
I am unable to hunt as much as I did last year and I like the full moon coming up I expect does to start going into estrus around Nov 1st but would like other michigan hunters take on this. Have seen some decent bucks this year but the action has almost died. Havent seen a buck in more than a week.

Here in Jackson County, I have not seen a lot of indication that the rut is picking up significantly. However, yesterday morning when I was out, it was pretty windy and it had rained all night so it wasn't the best day to evaluate. But I didn't see bucks cruising yet. Just a small spike horn wandering. The corn is still up all around the woods I hunt though so I know they have been hanging in those fields a lot. But we are still a week away from when I would expect to see the rut really start. Usually from about November 4th-10th before we see a peak with good activity on either side of those dates.
