By this I mean if you take the entire deer population of any state, which state has more deer/sq mile?
I was recently told it was NJ and was suprised to hear that. But it may be true because NJ has very high deer numbers and is a much smaller state than most. Any thoughts?

Odd that those places where the deer are happen to be most dense are very similar to where the people are most dense. Its ok, I'll take my 15 deer per square mile and never have to see another hunter all season.
