It's sad but some of those stealing tree stands do it because they want to hunt there, so you would move and hunt somewhere else.
I don't hunt in public properties anymore and make sure I know what's happening on the private one's I have sole hunting rights on.

I didnt think it would happen to me, but they didnt get my stand, they loosen my straps that held my stand. I got to my stand before daylight (530am), I started to climb up and got half way up thing went bad. It buckled with my weight!!! What now? Waited till light and whoever tried to steal it, they couldnt get it, I had it locked. They took lock pin out of top section and seat. Lucky I felt something was wrong, it could have been bad all away around
