1st deer of 2009
#23
I hunt a 30 acre parcel that sits along side of M.Airy Forest on Diehle Rd and Colerain Avenue.
Its a 100 Grain NAP Thunderhead fixed blade that did the damage. It has worked for me for years and out of the 50+ deer I have shot over the years only one has ran more than 40 yrds before falling over dead. Remember guys/gals, just because it's "The New Big Thing" in broadheads being expanable, doesn't mean that you have to go buy it ASAP. Sure they work, but so do the broadheads that we have been using for years. Not to mention the fact that now you buy a 3-pack for 24.99-49.99. I remember buying a NAP 100 grain Thunderhead 6-pack for just 17.00 about 4 years ago. My opinion regardless the cost... Stick with what works for you!
