scope problems

Default scope problems

I zeroed my scope about a month ago and when i went to check on it today, i was about 5 feet off from a 100 yard shot....is this normal? What could have happened?

Assuming it's a rifle and usingthe same ammunition, No. Sounds like something is loose. Check your mounts.

If it's the same ammo and the mounts and bedding screws are all tight and you aren't flinching then just send it back to Leupold and have them go over it for you...

You didn't say what kind of scope it is. It sounds like either a loose mount or cheap scope.

Cheap scope,loose scope, poor shouldering, bad ammo, really dirty barrel or you dropped it or maybe it bounced around the truck, or fell over in the case .re-sight it in and try it again use a bench and new rounds.

Check and make sure all the mounts are tight. What kind of scope is it? Did you drop it any?

I doubt your scope even has 5 feet of adjustment capability in it. (unless its a shotgun scope) It must be something mechanical with the mounts or the scope is fvcked.

You have to try really hard to be off 5 feet at 100 yards.
