I posted this on another forun but maybe I can get some replies here. My very loving wife bought me a Browning Silver slug gun for christmas this year. Deer season is over here in Ohio and it will be a couple months till I can shoot it. I was wondering if anyone has one, or has shot one? I have read good reports about the gun but i would love any first handinformation about it's preformance. Thank in advance

theres alot of slug hunters here, Im sure someone has one, They are fine looking guns Congrats.

The silver is not too much different to the gold. I have the gold slug gun. Its been one of my better ones. I hold 2" group with it at 100 yards with copper solids. It doesn't like the lightwieght superfast slugs at all. But 1oz 2.75" and lightfield 1oz, it shoots well.

I also shoot a Gold. Mine likes the Hornady SST slugs. It is topped with a scope and from a bench will clover leaf slugs at 75 yards.
