Default Decided on a .270...now what make?

I have decided to get a .270, now what make? Cooper, Kimber? I have always used Remingtons, but I would like to explore some other brands. I would like to use the gun mostly for whitetail deer/black bear in PA (mostly 50-250 yards), but I would also like to take the gun on some trips out west for mule deer and antelope. I like synthetic stocks, but I don't like the look/shine of silver barrels and silver scopes. I have some money saved up and I am willing to invest some money in order to get a quality gun.
Any recommendations? thanks in advance.

I have a Browning Abolt stainless stalker in .270 and it is my go to rifle.I am definitely drawn to the Kimbers though,to the extent that I will have one at some point in time. The Kimber Montana deserves a serious look!

I have some recommendations, but you need to be more specific on a dollar amount that you are willing to spend. I would personally stay away from Cooper for political reasons and Kimber for accuracy problems, but there are some really good gun companies out there if you are willing to drop a little extra coin.
