I have been on this particular buck since Sept. I know he has been nocturnal but I knew he will eventually mess up. Boy was I wrong. I was in my stand at 5:15 this morning Dec. 2 and at 5:30 I hear all this racket. A doe was being chased and the buck was grunting up a storm. Well the does ran and stopped right by my stand and a few moments later I could hear the buck running and grunting It was to dark to even attempt a shot on him. All I can do is hope he comes out during legal shooting light. This is not my year

Well sounds like someone is having a season like me. I know the feeling its like I cant buy a decent buck this year.

Yep since November 22 I have logged in 113 hours in a treestand. Got up to go this morning and it was pouring down rain. I will hunt in rain but not like it is right now I hate getting soggy wet.

keep your head up and hang in there. go back to the same stand and sit and maybe he'll come back and when its alittle bit lighter out

Thought I would give an update: I hunted everyday from sunup to sundown with the exception of 1 day for rain. My Buck that I have been on came out again Friday night about 4:45 only bad thing was I could not get him out of the thicket that he was using to travel through. I grunted he could of cared less. Still no luck. Only thing I can say is He will be bigger next year.
