where to hunt
this december would be my first time hunting. right now, im looking at all the rules; however, i cant seem to find out where to hunt.....i know its not legal everywhere because i rarely see any hunters in california. Thats why i would like to ask you guys what places are legal for hunting. Am i allowed to hunt in national forest areas? places with wilderness near campgrounds, or in the middle of the dessert? Does anyone here know?

National Forest Service is OK, BLM Land is OK,
and private land with written permission only.
NO State Parks, NO Indian Reservations, unless you have written permission.
Read the DFG Hunting manual carefully.
