I saw another pic of this deer (pre-sawing) on the B&C site. No face shot. No mention of poaching on the B&C site. It's a monster, that much we know. Everything else (poaching accusations, bad shot accusations, ect)is pure speculation.

Exactly, a taxi cuts them to fit the form

The BEST taxidermist build the FORM to fit, not alter/change plate, IMHO. Looks like standard cut, then taxi will add/subtract to/from form
I just meant he cuts the skull to fit the form. Meaning he only uses a skull cap not the whole skull.

Taxidermists saw the antlers off like that. They then attach the skull plate to a form.

I'd say he's definitely hiding something. I mean, who shoots a deer of that size and saws the antlers off like that????? He probably shot him in the face.
I stand corrected! Now I know something new!

It happens every time a monster buck is killed. The haters come out of the woodwork and try to discredit the deer, or the hunter. It's possible the deer was killed under a spotlight, inside an enclosure, by an unlicensed convicted felon, but there's nothing indicating that at this time.
I'd hate to shoot a deer that size for those very reasons. Not worth it, imo.

Yeah....he did. I patterned and killed that buck back in October, went to get the 4-wheeler and came back and the thing was gone...that SOB took my buck!
