Question?
on opening day i seen a very nice shootable buck but he was out of range. i have since moved closer but not seen a thing since.he has a "rubline" and a "scrape line" where i seen him at. i was thinking about making a mock scrape close to his lines. would this be an effective technique or just a waste of time? because i know that you use it for pre rut....but i do not know about now. or even the proper "scents" for a mock scrape[&:]

RE: Question?
You could make a mock scrape,Make sure you put it under a over hanging branch. As for as scent i like to put doe in heat in it seems to work for me. I f he has a scrape line going threw there just hunt over it he'll be coming threw sometime.
