Southern Indiana is thickly wooded, and we can't use high powered rifles only shotguns and "cowboy" caliber rifles such as lever actions, so all of mine have been 100 yards or less.

About 70% for me. And i shoot a 7 Rem Mag. Heart shots and the drop. Not too much meat torn either. But i hunt Utah and PA

all minehave under 50 yds except 1 which was 125yds. the front bead covered everything at that range.

Near as I can figure, about 60% of mine have been less than 100 yd. That makes 50-74% in the poll for me.

About 70% of my shots were under 100. My farthest shot was 379 on a elk and 319 on a deer.

You should have specified the weapon. All of my bowkilled deer were shot under 100 yards of course,while few of my rifle deer were that close.

100% and I hunt some fields that I can see 400yds
