Default muzzleloader season

The arkansas muzzleloader season opens saturday morning for 9 days. The temp is supposed to go down a few degrees by then so that will be better. Up here in the ozarks there are a ton of acorns this year, the darn deer can eat from there beds, that sure makes for some tough hunting. Anybody else gonna be out there sat morning?

i'll be in the woods for sure... Norfork lake has been so high i'll end up swimming to my stand! naw i'm puttin' the boat in the water friday night for an early arrival.the property i hunt hasnot been pressured at all this year, but fishermen could havesteped out of their boats and right into my stand over the summer.the lake has dropped down enough to hunt the field but it's backed up in the creeks and without the boat i'd have to cross it three times.

where are you from gregrn43?

I'll be in the woods Saturday til Tuesday. Temp isn't supposed to cool off that much in south Arkansas. We are supposed to still have highs in the mid 70s during the day. We don't have a whole lot of acorns on the ground, yet. Or we didn't as of 2 weeks ago. Maybe the skeeters won't be as bad as 2 weeks ago.
