For the situation I am currently in, my goal is a 3.5 yr old+ that goes 130".
I checked 120+ because sometimes judging on the fly is tough, if it hits the wow factor for rack size & has a good body to it, I'll shoot. I hope to not shoot anything under 3.5 yrs old is my main goal.

I checked 120" and up. Unfortunately the area that I am hunting, there is a lot of hunting pressure. I found out this weekend when I was setting up my stand that there is someone else hunting the same property, but placed his stand about 75 yards from my stand. I know that there is a nice 120+ class 4x4 there, if not bigger than that and quite a few smaller bucks. In the past, I would take any buck, but I would rather hold off until they are a little bigger. Things being as they are, I think that I wil still have an opportunity at a larger buck

Two years ago, I hunted the smae property and passed on a smaller 4x4 and last year I took a 5x7 non-typical. My guess is that he was one of them that I passed on.

I'll still say to the people that will shoot little bucks, and then they complain that they never have any bigger bucks where they hunt; that you need to let them walk. Unless it's going to be your first buck, don't shoot them. If you need meat, shoot does cause there's plenty of them. It just annoys me when people say they shoot any buck that walks past them, and then they complain that they have no big bucks where they hunt. If they're small let'em grow.
