Heater Body Suit???
Hey guys/gals, I was wondering...That "Heater Body Suit" is a bit pricey, but if it holds true that if I get cold I get my money back, I was thinking about buying one. With that said, I'm curious if anyone has one, and if you like it? Was it money well spent? I typically get cold after the 4 hour mark on those bitter winter mornings on stand. I want something that keeps me warm so that I can have those "All Day" hunts in the stand even during the frigid winter months. I have no problem spending the money if it truely works, I just want some other opinions/comments on this item before I invest any money in it. It's funny, I have no problem spending well over $1,000.00 for a new hunting rig (Diamond Bow + all goodies), but I get pissed when I have to spend $20.00 for some wool socks...LOL, I kill myself sometimes...LOL Thanks to all in advance

Somebody posted in another area that he went to Dicks and got a cheapo sleeping bag to use instead of the Heater suit. He said it works as good and is a bunch cheaper...FWIW

Shawn,
Not sure about your current set up for clothing. Maybe the issue just a little tweeking with your current set up. Tell us a little more about your current cloting, routine for getting to stand and lower range of temps you hunt in

Can someone tell me about the use of a sleeping bag. If you're ripped up in the bag, how would you get your arms freed-up without making a commotion, or noise from the zipper? Thanks.

I haven't used one, but I know a couple guys that have and love them. I have used a sleeping bag a couple times over the years, and its basically the same concept - only the HBS is customized to be used for hunting with max benefit. I don't even know how much they cost, but I can almost guarantee they are worth the money if you get cold. Luckily for me, I don't get cold easily....or I'd probably buy one. If I ever venture to the colder parts, I'll get one for sure.
I agree...many of usspend TONS of money on the newest crap we don't need, or that won't really help us....then skimp on the stuff we truly need. LOL [8D]
