Default Traditions Pursuit II XLT

Hello all. I am thinking of getting this muzzleloader and was curious if anyone has had any expereince with it or any reviews of it or anything.

I'd appreciate any feedback and information.

Thanks in advance.

I have it, and it is a great rifle. I did a lot of research before buying it and couldn't be happier.

Bought a Pursuit LT for my son and we have had no problems with it. He's left handed so the break open design works well for him. I have a Pursuit Pro and for the price it have been a reliable gun. I have had no difficulties with it.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I've decided I'm going to get it- now the only problem is black or Treestand camo. I LOVE the all black with thumbhole grip.. its one bad mama jamma. BUt I also LOVE the new Mossy Oak Treestand.. again one bad mother!

Default Muzzle Loader

I have hunted with ML's a few times. They are a lot of fun and nostalgic however you will not be able to tag bucks the same way you would with a cartridge rifle. Modern muzzle loaders are very accurate compared to their old time predecessors, improved barreling, better powder blends and improved balls make for an accurate rifle.

I bought my grandson a Pursuit and a couple of weeks later I found the Knight Vision for the same price, so I bought myself the Knight. I like the Knight better, and it is a better looking rifle to me.
