As in what do you deer hunt with MOST? Not looking for a list of all that you have but which one do you use most often or have taken the most deer with. It could be a bow, muzzleloader, or centerfire. Make sure to include the caliber and any other details.

Remington 760 in 30 - 06. The gun is WAY older than I am and was used by my uncle for many years before he handed it down to me.
I've purchased many guns over the years, but this one is the ONE!

For the past several years I've had two guns I consider my deer guns. Both are Winchester M-70's, a .308 and a 7MM RM.
I guess as a superstitious habit, I swap them out each year! But I always feel better with my .308!
This year, I have a new .243, so its the one thats going to get the call from the bull pen!

My "go to gun" is my first center fire rifle. It's a Savage 99 C in 308 win., mounted with a 6X bushnell scope. It has never failed to drop whatever the crosshairs were centered on.

870 Express combo. I found one, new in box, at a dealer's table at a gun show. This one had a matte finished American walnut stocks on it. The butt stock has a small area of walnut stained sap wood at the toe so I think it may have been a second from another model. In any case, it is factory original and has mellowed the way walnut stocks do when well used.
I do know that the reason I like it over my Wingmaster is mostly psychological though. I do hit what I aim at with it so confidence plays a role. The 870 is with me for deer and fowl. A bit of boiled linseed oil on scratches and all is well with the world, that and a beefed up mag spring to end deer slug recoil feeding malfunctions (at the range).
