I've had it work as an attractant to smaller/curious bucks, but nothing over 75 inches.
Mostly button bucks or basket racks, but if that's what your after then have at it!
I had one button buck come down a trail and stop sniff, then lick the branches in front of me (@ 6 yards), kind of a neat thing, nature at it's finest.
