First of all - Moderators, please don't move this thread. I want to get this out to the widest possible audience.

Everyone else - I'm thinking of putting together a cookbook on CD with recipes submitted by hunters and fishers. My questionsare -

Who would pay $9.99 plus shipping for a CD full of recipes from other sports persons?

Who would be willing to share their favorite recipes for this CD?

I would be willing to do this project and take care of organizing and producing the CD as I will soon be retired. I figure any proceeds from this CD should go to a charity. Then the only thing to resolve is what charity to give it to.

Costs:
CD - $.50
Cover - $.30
Ink - $.50
Padded Envelope - $1.00
Postage - $2.00
TOTAL - $4.30 (approximately)

That would leave $5.69 per CD left over to go to charity.

I would pay 9.99 for this,it would make a great gift as I am no way a cook. As far as a charity go'es this is a hunting forum and I think my money should go to help disabled and the terminal hunters.

Buckeye, I like it. Or we could split it up between several different groups like:

PVA (Paralyzed Veterans of America) for their hunts and fishing tournaments;
Disabled Hunters Group;
Make A Wish;
Big Brothers;
ETC.

Catch a Dream would be a good charity. They concentrate on outdoor dreams for the termianlly ill. Make a wish will not sponsor anything that involves firearms or bows.

Alright everyone, how about Catch A Dream and PVA for the charities?

Everyone e-mail your favorite recipes to:

[email protected]

If you have taken this recipe from a cookbook, please reference the book.

I will collect, compile, and get them published once we have a good number of recipes running the gambit of categories.

The categories I can think of off the top of my headare:
WILD BEAST (All the meats one hunts for)

DOMESTICATED (Beef, Pork, Poutry, etc)

FISH/SEAFOOD

HOME COOKING (favorite home cooked dishes)

VEGETABLES

DESSERTS

SOUPS/STEWS
