The land I hunt on is posted and the Game Warden cannot come on to the place without written permission, if he does it is a fine for him. The land owner has tried to trick them into crossing the line and they will not. Maybe you guys need to get some laws rewritten.
LMAO!!! I don't believe a word of this post.
I've read some things lately that gives some truth to this. Hunting in closed areas is one, the game are not public property.

One thing I did read was that "posted" land gives them the right to enter. It didn't say that non posted land is different right out, but it did indicate that posting is what gives them the freedom to do it.The indication that there must be a cause is almost always implied.

Kind of hate to waste anymore time on this post, it’s already been started twice before in the past 2 days and most of it lost.

Freedom is #1 in my book and the only time I hear it talked about is in the context of voting more of it away, it's what has led to things like this. People better wake up and in the short term get your legal ducks in order so that when it happens to you, you'll know your rights under the constitution. It has now been forced upon me to include it in my off season things to do.

Sobriety check points have been deemed legal because the threat to the safety of thepeople out ways personal freedom. Think about theimplications of this recent decision. This what the GW uses to enter property. The argument is that they need to make sure the public’s property on private property is safe. You'd think they could still accomplish this without the intrusion, and they can. They can work at night for one.

The attitude shared by most these days is "their just doing it for our own good". It's just a stone to the next step. For your own good and the future of this nationnothing could be farther from the truth. The freedom to be left alone to live out your days in peace is for our own good. It's what this nation was founded on. In no way am I advocating lawlessness either. The law abiding should be left alone to pursue legal activities free from being treated like they have broken a law.

Another thing I read was that they cannot move something to find evidence. If you give your permission to look they can, but if you refuse they must get an order to do so. There's more to it like be prepare to be held a while, but it would be worth it for me. The big picture demands it.

Is the county court house the only place I can find the laws that cover everything the wildlife officers can and can not do? The hunters safety course didn't cover much of anything as far as the law, and the booklet they pass out is about grey enough to get me lots of tickets.
Thanks

You got to talk to the right people. Get them involved and the government will listen. Talking directly to them will yield little unless it can be used in a campaign.

The media.[8D]

Contacted some yesterday after reading an article where the dnr complained about the disappointing ml season harvest results and blamed the weather.

Here's how I started after starting in some hunting forums which I'm sorry to say hasn't been too positive. I know how life is, times and places are irrelevant. People are people. History is full of examples. The life of the great Scotsman William Wallace just to name one is a perfect example of the process.

I'ma hunter. I'm patience.

Have a friend in local law enforcement. He stopped by to pick up his kid and we talked about hunting. One thing led to another and I told hin the story. His mouth hung open and before I could finish he said, "they ruined the guys hunt". The next thing was, "they have to have a reason, just can't do that without it". He has been in law enforcment for over a decade if not 2.

I remember why it came up. He asked ifI knew anywhere he could gun hunt. He's not a very good hunter but I think I'll bring him along more often.
