Buck bedding behavior

RE: Buck bedding behavior
That's a difficult question. Deer make many kinds of scrapes;primary, secondary, territorial/boundry and the highly technical "I just want to make a scrape here scrape". Hunters see alot of the latter type. If you find active scrapes around a known doe hideout, there is a good chance he'll be close within scentcheck distance. I've seen several bucks laying close to my scent drippers waiting for some action. Of course, I blew them out when I arrived.
