Imagine the pain he feels walking through a briar patch.

I guess it could very well have been a bladder. While still in the deer, while the deer was hanging, the organ did apper pinkish white. It was also very spongy, It dried out pretty quick once it was brought into the house. Does anyone know where I can see a picture of a deer's bladder? I hope to god it was not a tumor

"It's not a tumah!" oh Arnold!

Unlikely to be a tumor. They are usually solid. They are rarely fluid filled. Below is a picture of a fluid filled bladder. It's a goat's bladder, but it's the best pic I have. I don't do surgery on deer that often. Note that the bladder is distended and filled with urine, so it isn't going to look like the nearly empty one you had.

If that pic from twiede is a deer's bladder, then I don't think it was a bladder. Damn I really wish I had taken a picture of it. That way I would have a photograph to go with with image that is burned into my mind. MY girlfriend grabbed it out of the pelvis witha paper towel. I will ask her how it felt. There was a lot of connective tissue holding it in there. I guess what grosses me out so much is that the side that was ribbed was so ribbed that I wanted to touch it, but because I didn't know what it wasI didn't, so I have these two conflicting ideas in my head. Does anyone have any pictures of what a cyst or a vestigial epididymis or a prostate from a deer would look like?
