Let Em Grow!!

RE: Let Em Grow!!
I agree let them grow. I have passed on small deer this season aswell. I have seen the deer people have shot and thought they shot a dog aswell. If you have a young hunter that has never killed a deer let their forst be whatever but after that teach them some regulations. Just my opinion.

Let 'em grow for who? You? There is simply no future in trying to tell me what i should or shouldn't be shooting. As far as shooting does with Fawns, i rarely see does without fawns. The little ones will do just fine without their Momma. Keep in mind that just because you don't see fawns with a doe, it doesn't mean she doesn't have any. I am always amused by hunters who would impose their standards on others.

We aren't imposing our standards on you just stating our opinion just like you did. And you're rightletting him grow for who. If you let him walk someone else might kill him tomorrow or in a few years as a trophy. but if you shoot him today nobody gets the trophy. Once again just an opinion not a correction on your standards.

The hunters who live in areas where they get to see does on every hunt and are given numerous doe tags can be more selective if they choose. This criteria surely doesn't apply to everyone. There are parts of the country where one can go days without even seeing a small deer never mind a big one and they may have only one deer tag to boot! I don't see any reason why these hunters shouldn't be allowed to shoot whatever kind of deer they want. For many of them it may be the only deer they will get to see.
