Lol thought you might like that. How about just for bragging rights. Maybe a gift certificate to Cabelas or Bass Pro. Ground rules sound good to me, good luck. This is a win win for me, I love taking big deer and love to see others get them to.

But I have a feeling the ole TC Encore is going to seal the deal.

Lord I love baiting! If you could see the monster patrolling my property, you'd have to change your underwear right now. I found his bedding today without disturbing him. I know his route to the fields too. As long as I don't have a stroke between now and December 31st, you'll get a spanking. Now all we got to do is get one of these fine hunters to agree to judge.

What criteria do you all plan on using for judging the "best buck"?

If ya both use rifle.. B&C + bonus points for a deer 5 years or older.. *shrug*

Personally I'd vote to use the KISS rule. The judge looks at the photo of USAF's fawn and then at the picture of my buck and declares me the winner. You can look at a photo and usually determine who has the nicer deer. We won't even limit this to bucks. If by freak of nature, neither of us gets a shot at a good buck, the bigger slickhead will be the winner. BTW USAF Hunter, the use of motorized vehicles, WMD, and missiles are not permitted as a means of death for the deer! lol

If neither of ya object, I'll judge the best deer.

Sounds like a good idea to me. That way you wouldn't have to worry about someone being biased.
You would get a good majority vote and whoever won would win fairly.
