Last day of the season and only 20 mins of legal shooting time left.

RE: What would you do?
Seeing as I am a meat hunter, not a horn hunter, I would probubly wait untill I could make a shot without endangering one of the other deer, and take him. I know, he may be only a 3 1/2 year old but is probubly more tender. Sorry.

I would try to get closer if that one lookin at yah looked away and continued on doin what it was doin then i would try to get closer and wait for that big guy in the back to get into the clear.

Since I hunt to fill the freezer and not for a trophy (would be nice to get at least one), I would try and get in to a closer position since 160yds is a stretch for the 30/30. Then I would hope for a broadside shot on either of the two.

I'd wait for the big boy to be clear of the others, and take him. He's looking at you, but doesn't seem too concerned. They're just chilling, so it's no need to rush. The .30-30 can handle a 150yd shot, no question.

I don't know enoughabout the 30-30 soI can't say. But with the 30-06 it would be a clean shot in the position they're in. The buck in the rear has his head turned away, so he is in no dangerand if the one in the front is turned to the right you may get two for one because it's head may be in the line of fire.
