I actually get more enjoyment of taking a friend and letting himshoot a deer, than me shooting one.
One of my friends put me on a nice 8 pointer this past year and he watched me arrow it.
I like hunting with friends.

I would like to hunt with others but it just never seems to work out, so I hunt most of the time alone!

I used to always hunt alone. But now I always hunt with my wife. Last season she went out every time with me, spending hundreds of hours pre-scouting and hunting. She's my bread and butter

Life is good

It is about a 50-50 split with me. I enjoy the aspects of hunting alone, but also enjoy the comaraderie around hunting with someone else.

I "go" hunting with a buddy and we then split up and go to our own areas to sit in stand etc. It is more fun when there is someone there to share the experience after the hunt. I also thinkl in my situation it is safer. I have diabetes and always tell my hunting partner where I will be and what time we will meet up so that if something happens we can find each other. we also have a pair of the outdoor radios as backup against a fall or other unforeseen accident.

My wife was deer hunting the first time we went out. She has hunted every season for 38 years wuth me. She missed a few when our kids were babies but after that, we all went.

Five of us college classmates get together on twodays each year to rabbit and quail hunt. It is also a reunion since we are widely dispersed. My son and i get together and deer hunt Thanksgiving weekend every year.

Used to deer turkey, and hog hunt withsome local folks. It was all a one way deal.i do a lot of of pre-season scouting. Theydo not. i built a lot of tree stands that they hunted from. Noneof those folks ever offered to help build or repair a tree stand but they always hunted from mine.

Alwaystold my hunting partners where the big bucks were. The final straw for me was when i askeda hunting buddy where his wife killed her nice buck. The reply: "It is a secret place." Told all of them to go to hades and am now a dedicated lone hunter.

Since i quit hunting with a group i have killedlotsmorehogs and turkeys, and got areally nice buck last fall.Moved several of the tree stands to isolated areas that suit my solitary way of hunting. Love it!!!
