RE: Deer hunting dog killers
If it is someone's pet that belongs to the person who owns the property that the dog is on, that's one thing. But a dog that was once someones pet that they didn't want so they dropped it off in the woods for him to take his chances in the wild is a compleatly other animal. The dog is not OWNED by anyone, he is a WILD animal, a pest, like a rat. If the dogs do no harm to the wildlife, say he gets fed at peoples houses and doesn't do any harm to the wildlife in the area, he probably won't get shot by the hunters out there tring to legaly harvest game. But it's when you have a problem in the area with WILD dogs that dogs start to get shot. If an anti hunter screws up your hunt you can take them to court and they have to pay you for your lost time hunting. You can't take a dog to court. Shooting a dog if there is a major problem with wild dogs doing harm to the wildlife in the area is no different then setting mouse traps or spraying for cockroaches. They are vermin, trash, and the woods are a better place when they are gone.
