3. Tracking - C+
4. Discipline of sound, light and movementwhile hunting-A
5. Scouting -B
6. Dressing deer -C
7. Pre-hunt preparation -B+
8. Safety - B

I would grade myself as a deerhunter in the following areas with the following grades in no particular order:

1. Shooting ability - B
2. Scent control - B+
3. Tracking - C
4. Discipline of sound, light and movementwhile hunting- A-
5. Scouting - B-
6. Dressing deer - B
7. Pre-hunt preparation - B+
8. Safety - A-

Feel free to grade yourself on these areas and add any others you think are important.

7. B
8. A

2. Scent control -I gun hunt, so I don'tworry about scent control much.
3. Tracking - B-
4. Discipline of sound, light and movementwhile hunting- B
5. Scouting -Not very often.
6. Dressing deer -It depends, sometimes the butcher is only 5 miles away, soI don't dress it.
7. Pre-hunt preparation - B+
8. Safety - A

I consider myself a B average on all the above and no matter what grade you are theres endless room for improvement.

1. Shooting ability -rifle-A / bow-don't know yet as just got a bow
2. Scent control -C-not a concern until now that I amgetting intobow hunting
3. Tracking - C
4. Discipline of sound, light and movementwhile hunting- A-
5. Scouting -C
6. Dressing deer - C Thats what younger brother is for. He is alot better at it any way.
7. Pre-hunt preparation - B+
8. Safety - A-

I'll have to review this after bow season is over next year and see what I really need to work on.
