Free lifetime deer hunting license for....
US military veterans? Do you agree or disagree? When I say veteran I mean those that actually served a minimum of two years and/or was actually in a combat zone (reservists).
I say yes, as in MN a lifetime license is about $600, so why not.

RE: Free lifetime deer hunting license for....
Good point about the revenue, but if you consider that about/less than 10% of Americans actually serve in the military and likely half to a little more than half would qualify by the guidelines I mentioned. Even less if you consider that most Americans in general do not hunt, so the financial impact may not be as much as one might believe.

How about a free lifetime fishing license, or a free lifetime driver's license....why stop there?
In most states, GI's on active duty can hunt/fish and even drive without having to nenew their licenses.
Just because someone served in the military shouldn't qualify them to hunt for free for life. ...Just my two American cents....

I am all for it.
I wish I knew when I lived in Illinois that they had a lifetime license. It was like $540 back in the 80's and
if I had bought it I wouldnt have to worry about non resident fee's for deer hunting in Illinois.
