For me, it is Simms Limbsaver. I do have a Kickeez on a gun that is nice too.

i like limbsaver. i'm fixin to get the custom fit for my 336 marlin .35. everyone i know says i'm a wimp and stuff but i let my buddy who'd been hounding me shoot it with the factory steel buttplate and his first words where (this needs a recoil pad or somethin). he wont even shoot it anymore.

Limbsavers can be had pretty much anywhere, even walmart.

I would also have to say limbsavers but if you want to go the extra mile some time what you should do is get a mercury recoil reducer put into your stalk, with the Limbsaver and the mercury recoil reducer your gun should fell like .22 when your shooting it.

Pachmeyer pads are great too... at least the one on my 338-378 Weatherby does the trick. I can shoot 20 rds through it in one setting.
