    A serviceable slip on Pachmayer can be had at the local Wally World for about $10-15, I use them a lot on shotgun and muzzleloaders and they work well.

    Limbsaver gets the nod from me.
    Just installed one on my Ruger No.I, .338 Win Mag. What a diff!!
    Feels like I'm shooting an '06.

    The limsaver is a great pad.My daughter uses one on her 7mm-08.

    Have you considered buying a new rest for the range.We use a Caldwell Lead Sled when sighting and checking groups.We can shoot the biggest calibers out there with absolutely no felt recoil.These things are great.Just a thought.[8D]
