Ground Blinds
This question is aimed more for the bowhunters. I realize that a treestand is more effective. I however have some physical limitations and was wondering if any of you have success with a ground blind and if so any recomendations?

RE: Ground Blinds
Yes , I have hunted from both tree and ground , I use a Double Bull T5 .
Its the best on the market , I use for deer and turkey so it gets plenty of use.
Very large inside , big enough for two hunters and just right for a bowhunter.
Here's a picture of my blind in the swamp last fall.

I have an ameristep dog house and it's great. I put it up 2 weeks beforebow season, about September 1 stand leave it up to the middle of December. I don't think you can go wrong with one.

I have seen alot of deer hunting my ground blind. I set up about 30 yards from the thick woods out on the hay field~because the woods is off limits. I have had alot of deer within 15 yards. Just make sure if you get one that there is enough room for you to draw your bow and not bump into any of the sides, that would surely spook the deer.

I use the Ameristep Brickhouse and it's great. It's reasonably priced and two people can fit inside comfortably, plenty of room to draw a bow also. I think Bass Pro has them on sale now.

I have hunted withmy kids a lot out ofour Double Bull blinds and they work very well. It's a comfortable roomy blind that is FAR superior in quality than other cheaper commercial offerings. We have the T5 and the newer Matrix and they are both great products!

I got a Ameristep Stackhouse. I really like it. Have had deer as close as 3 yards without a thought in their mind I was there. I will most likey be buying a Double Bull next year.
Although I have shot both my deer this year by just tucking into the woods on the edge of the field.
