I have taken a doe with horns off my property but the horns were only 10inch spikes with big bases, The problem I ran into was that when I checked it in they made me use my Doe tag, that I only use during emergencys at the end of the year if no meat in the freezer. I should of done more bitching at them to change the tag, Oh well. Sh-- happens.

Here in Nebraska we don't have Doe and Buck tags. We have "Antlerless", "A deer with Antlers 6 inches or longer" and "Either Sex" tags for the reason that some does have antlers.

Nate Says: While it's true that there are "Antlerless" and "Either Sex" tags available in Nebraska, some of the game management units also distribute "Buck Only" permits, and even more specific, "Whitetail Buck Only" in the area I hunted. Of course, I got in the draw early and got an "Either Type, Either Sex" permit.

im trying to get my pw from hunting-pictures.com and i will show some pics, i have a close up on the "lower region" and a full body one, but after he shot it we called the conservation dept. and he said 10% of does have some spikes or something, but he didnt sound too suprised or anything when he was told it was a 10 pointer, so i dont know how rare it really is but i dont think 10% have spikes.
