The first year I hunted, I had shot a nice 8-point. I was super excited but it was below 0 temperatures and my hands were numb. I cut myself all the way across the palm of my left hand. I kept wiping off the blood thinking it was deer blood...not the case! When I got back to camp I bandaged it up, but since then I have been a little more careful.
