You can't beat this.
Just returned from my bow hunt of 4 days. It was wonderful. I passed on a 7 pointer and some other small bucks,( there is a 4 point restriction on bucks), and he was marginal. I was really looking for some doe meat. Any way I want to share this and will be as brief as possible. On my last day I was watching this doe about 96 yards away out in a field hoping she would come in my directionand naturally she didn't. She was just moving along at her own pace and then she started to look back in the direction from where she had traveled. Soooo, of course I took a gander over that way. To my surprise there was this 7 pointer,( the one I passed on), and a 5 point buck watching her very closely. When I looked back at her I saw she was joined by this magnificiant 10 pointwall hanger. Well to make a long story short he was smelling her glands among other parts of her anatomy and at the same time keeping a watchful eye on those other 2 bucks. I thought surely a fight was in the making but wrong again!!! Those 2 bucks stayed 10 to 15 yards from me the whole time. I drew on the 7 pointerthree times and passed, might be sorry but that's the chance you take. The big guystayed with her for 3 hours working her and trying his best toleave his legacy.I watched for the entire length of time. It truely was a beautiful experience. Nature at it's best.Itwill forever be one of my mostmemorable jaunts into the deer woods.
Oh by the way he didn't score either.
Good luck to you all.
