Game Finder Technology
Shot a nice buck a few mornings ago - 32 steps, broadside, behind shoulder, 250 Gr. SST, found blood and small piece of bone where he was standing, thought I heard him crash about 50 yds. away, went to get 4-wheeler to recover him and hecould not be found, looked all day. My question is: Has anyone used or seen reviews of the hi-tech Game Finder products that helpfind blood trails or use heat sensing technology to help locate animals?

A hunting partner showed up with one on our annual trip last fall. After having an elk on the ground,we tested the unit and were very disappointed.Even with a fresh kill on a cool morning,it was basically useless.

I tried one of the Gerber lights on chicken blood and beef blood. I didn't see that it improved the visibility at all, actually I could see better with a white light.
