closed gates
well this mornin was openin rifle season and As I made my way down to my number one spot a Gate had been closed so I was forced to go to my number 2 spot, which failed. Don't you hate it when the forest rangers close a gate on your favorite spot?
P.S the number 1 spot was too far away from the gate for me to get there intimebefore first light, which is why I didnt walk therre.

Does a closed gate mean that access is blocked , or just vehicle access ? A stretch of national forest that I'm considering hunting is no longer staffed , but still open to the public except for vehicles due to a closed gate . You can walk in though . You may wish to check with the rangers and clarify it .
