Goldthwaite, Texas area Rut ??????
We hunt in Goldthwaite, Texas. Last year we hammered the BIG BUCKS the third week of November. It seems that the second week (November)this year (2006) should be the peak of the rut or at the very least start seeing the big-boys.Anybody that hunts this area, what do ya think ??

dude, i envy your hunting. That is prime time hunting. Call me if you need a guest to help you out. I used to live in brownwood, so i know how great that area is. I hunted in Blanco for 8 years and had a great time, then the goats came.......ruined the ranch, so i need a friend up in your area.........Oh, wait you were asking about the rut ....
