ANY ONE EVER SLEPT IN THEIR STAND ..... OVERNIGHT?
I have personally never done this. But have heard of people that have accually slept in thier stand, overnight?
This has been due to them being scared of somthing, got lost in the dark and made thier way back to the stand and just went back up and slept it out.
Any input.

Maybe if I was in a Tree Lounge I could sleep there. But I'm doubting it. The only time I have really slept in the woods intentially was when I shot my last arrow at a deer and couldn't find it. So I went back to my stand and laid down at the bottom to wait on a buddy to return from his stand. Of course I was awaken two hours later by a 4pt buck walking around looking for a doe. Definetly a weird morning.

I've often considered it as our rifle stands are plenty big enough to comfortably sleep a person. Just tie yourself in and you'll be alright. Use your safety harness and then tie yourself in with a hoist rope. There have been times when I knew I couldn't stay awake in stand so I just tied myself in and went to sleep. This was in the morning though.

I have never personally done this, but I know a guy that has a lease not far from mine. He did not sleep in his stand the entire night. He went to his stand about 3 to 4 hours before daylight so he would not disturb anything because he was hunting a big buck. He awoke right at the crack of dawn to a big 10 point.

One of my friends sleeps in his stand during midday all the time, but not evernight.
No telling how many deer he's missed.
He's got a climber that has a high rail on the top piece so he's pretty comfortable up there. I would never try it with the hang-on stand that I've got.
Keep 'em all in the Bull.

I doze off once in a while if I'm real tired. I found that if you stand up it'll help you wake up. Because sometimes you don't always get to bed when you should.
