Default Plugs in Shotguns

It's legal here in Missouri... to remove your plug during Deer Season only... so someone can have 5 Sheels in their Gun.
What other State's is it legal in, and what State's is it illegal?
My Remington 870 I bought from a Pawn Shop came without one... but I'm not gonna buy onr from a Gun Shop till December when I start Squirrel hunting. They're only $3...

Virginia has a plugged shotgun law too. No more than 3 shells.

In SC the only thing I can think of right off that requires a plug is dove hunting. Everything else is wide open.

In Arkansas you only have to plug your gun if hunting waterfowl or migratory birds such as dove. After duck season is over in the state, you can unplug guns to hunt snows & blus (geese)to help thin out their population.
