where are the deer???
I was wondering the best way to use the qb bleet in heet? how long should I wait in between bleets? how often should I use the call? I use a grunt call and seem to have fair luck with it later in the season. I'm from upstate ny (adirondacks). Has anyone got any other tips that might help bring in the deer? Thanks for the help!!!

I personally only use a grunt call here in MN, but what I have been told is if there are no deer around, only use the grunt call about every 45 minutes or so. Hopefully a buck will poke his head out of the ruff. If you you use the grunt call evry few minutes, its too obvious. If you do it too often and there is a buck around, he will think something is fishy. I am not familiar with the bleet in heet. My uncle likes to use the grunt call and a pair of antlers every once in a while. He has had some good success with both early and late in the season. Last year I was using my grunt call and before I grunted I looked all around me to make sure there is no deer around. Then I grunted. 5 minutes later, I noticed three 4 spiked deer looking right in my direction that were behind my stand. One of them got curious and made his way over but I did not have a clean shot and he wondered off. I think the grunt call works great. Thats all I use.

If you wanna use the bleat call, call every 30-40 min with calls lasting 2-3 seconds no more than 4 sec. You cann also use it to turn a deer or stop a deer or even when walking to your stand if you stand hunt so it will sound like a doe walking and not you! Good Luck
