im going out tomarow for a youth rifle doe hunt...it started today but dad had to work..hes off tomarow and saturday so i will get to go out..this is the first time deer hunting since last year and you probally know how it is on the night before the first hunt! 20 mins ago but after i took a shower to rinse human off of me i am all ready to go! i cant wait...i hung my clothes on the line today with a nice breeze to catch some fresh air...packed everything i need in my oat pockets...ran a dry patch through the mauser bore to get the oil out even though i left only a thin coating so it didnt rust from the last time i shot it....i cant wait!...just thought id let you guys know im going nuts...i will post here and the NE forum and the guns forum for bullet performance if i take a shot....if not i will tell my story here if i have one lol...

well i just got back from this mornings hunt...i sat under the same exact tree as last year and i got a shot at a doe..this year..not a sign of deer..normaly the trail that im hunting is down to the dirt and the whole area tore up with deer tree rat adn turkey feedings...nothing this year...normally i see atleast 5 tree rats sitting in my spot..today i only seen 2..i dont know what happend to the deer...maybe they are running diffrent now...my dads been hunting there for 25 years and that has always been tore up like ive always seen it..hopefully the rain coming holds out for a few hours and i can get out again today...and i got tomarow..as far as i know my dad doesnt have any other plans...hope to have a story for you guys tonight or tomarow!
