Default Did i get a good deal?

Well i think i just got a good deal, let me know what you think. A guy i know walks into the sporting goods store that i go to all the time. He has had a few strokes in the past month so i am felling really bad for this guy and he tells me that he has to sell all of his guns because he cant hardly see. So he asked me if i was interested inhis T/C Encore Stainless with the Camo stocks he knew that i wanted the gun. I said how much??? He said he wanted$500 but since heknew me and knew that i would put itto good use he told me $400i asked him if it came with a scope and he said yeah a brand new 3-9Leupold scope on it. It is the .50 cal. muzzle loader. So I told him that i would give him $475 and no less, i really feel bad for the guy, he cant hunt anymore.

You got an excellent deal. I would not have hesitated at 500 if it was in good shape, especially with a good scope on it.

Sounds good . I never buy new guns. find them at yard sales and flea markets. I bought some from my cop friendsthat I quess were confiscated . and there is always the hard up drugaddict or wife that is mad at hubby for cheating on her

Deerhunter,

It sounds like didn't need to jew the blind guy another $25.00 to get a very good deal. It would have been a good deal at even $600.00. Leupold's lifetime warranty doesn't hurt
