my "monster"

RE: my "monster"
Listen to me, That is a bueaty. especially for a first buck! Back in the old days (here we go) I hunted for 9 years just to get my first deer which would have made me err aah, well older. It was a button buck and I was just as happy and proud as I could be. There are many people my age that have not taken a buck that nice yet and would be darn proud of it. Any deer you take is a trophy for one reason or the other be it meat or antlers or what ever. And the excitement and memories you get from the hunt will last a life time. And if when your hunting and you see a deer and you don't get that very special feeling (all hunters know what I mean) then its time to take up golf. Great job and keep up the good work and now that you know the feeling pass it on. Mike

RE: my "monster"
Thanks for all the positive posts guys... Obviously I am proud of it if or I wouldn't have speant the money to get it mounted...This deer will always be special to me... That morning my wife took her first deer ever, a very large doe (150 pounds) and that evening just before dusk I got my deer. One of those days you will never forget. Not to mention on the same day my father missed a deer (his first miss since bowhunting), due to his declining arthritis (bad trigger finger), it is really sad. Like all you guys hunting is my passion. There is nothing I would rather do than be in my deer blind all day, even if I didn't get a shot at a deer.
THANKS AGAIN!
