Ive tried it in between tight clusters of scrub oak. Some how the deer managed to scarape it clean though.

I built a feeder similar to the one pictured, except I used to 1/2" dowels to knock off the antlers. I came home twice to find my feeder thrown about six feet from where it was. Maybe a buck got hooked up and got ticked off?

are you sure? it looks too puffy and pointy to be a coon. and it's face doesnt match a coons either. it may be, i'm not sure. it sure does look like a porkypine up there. james vee, can you clear this up? just my opinon
