I forgot. I always carry my Swiss army knife as well. I carry the Explorer model and have for 35 years. I am on my third one but still have whats left of the first two.

i carry a regular 6 inch knife(dont know what else you'd call it) on my belt, along with a 3 inch pocket knife and a folding buck knife in my pack. and my dad usually carries a k-bar and a couple pocket knives. i really dont think we will be short on knives.

I carry about 4 knives if you include the wyoming skinner, or maybe its 5 knives along with a couple saws. I carry an open sheath 6" custom skinner on my side and a couple gut opener knives in my backpack.I also carry one that I forged out of a railroad spike that has a high carbon content that will shave a rats a$$ in half. I always believe in always having a back up knife, and have it ready if need be in an emergengy situation were to come up. I've had to many a knife kicked out of my hand from trying to bull dog a critter to the ground or loseing a knife in the snow while field dressingit, so its always nice to have an emergengy "Plan B."
